How it's calculated
Wall volume = 10 × 10 × 0.75 ft = 75 cft
One brick + joint = 0.0903 cft → bricks to fill = 75 ÷ 0.0903 = 831
+ 5% wastage → 873 bricks
Mortar = wall − bricks = 75 − (831 × 0.0703) = 16.59 cft

How this calculator works
The calculator finds the wall volume, then divides it by the volume of one brick including its mortar joint. Pakistan's standard brick is 9 × 4.5 × 3 inches, and a 10 mm mortar joint is added on the shared faces before dividing.
A wastage allowance (5% by default) is added for breakage and cutting. The mortar volume is the wall volume minus the space the bricks themselves occupy.
