This concrete (RCC) calculator estimates the cement, sand, aggregate and water for a concrete element by mix ratio and volume. Enter the element's dimensions and pick a nominal mix like 1:2:4 to get bags of cement and volumes of sand and crush you can order.
Wet concrete volume = 50 cft (1.416 m³). For a direct volume, set width and depth to 1.

How it's calculated
Wet volume = 10 × 10 × 0.5 = 50 cft
Dry volume = 50 × 1.54 = 77 cft; total parts = 7
Cement = dry × 1/7 = 11 cft → 449 kg = 9 bags
Sand = 22 cft · Aggregate = 44 cft · Water = 0.5 × 449 kg = 224 L

How this calculator works
The wet concrete volume is multiplied by a dry factor of 1.54 to get the dry material volume, which is then divided between cement, sand and aggregate in the chosen ratio.
Cement is converted to 50 kg bags at 1440 kg/m³, and water is estimated from a typical water-cement ratio. Nominal mixes (1:2:4, 1:1.5:3) are for planning — a designed mix from your engineer always takes precedence.
Common questions
- Which mix is used for slabs and columns?
- 1:2:4 (roughly M15) is a common general nominal mix; structural members often use richer designed mixes. Follow your structural engineer's specification.
- Is this a structural design?
- No — it's a quantity estimate for ordering materials, not a substitute for engineered concrete design.
